Breakfast at 7.45am – For each patient, 1 pint of coffee, 6oz of Bread and ½oz Butter

Lunch at 11am – To patients employed, 4oz Bread, 1oz Cheese and ½ pint Beer

* On Wednesdays and Saturdays, one eighth of the patients have each 1 pint of Soup, 6oz Bread and 1oz Cheese

The Meat is principally from the Farm, and consists of Beef, Mutton, Pork and Veal – sometimes Fish, Poultry and Game is given in place of Meat. Rhubarb and Apples are also given in the season in place of Currants and Raisins. The Vegetables (as in season) are potatoes, parsnips, turnips, greens, peas, beans etc., also lettuce radishes, onions etc.

Beer for dinner is given to those patients employed only.

4pm – The Males employed have ½ pint of Beer from Lady-Day to Michaelmas-Day

Tea at 5.45pm – For each Patient, 1 pint of Tea, with Bread and Butter, same as at Breakfast
