It's
amazing how a good teacher can inspire you for a lifetime! I was
blessed with a Deputy Headmaster, Mr J D M (Des) Wright who was
in charge of the school Family History Society. Armed with a
notepad, fired with enthusiasm, I set off to grill my nearest
and dearest relatives ... and am now pleased to share the
results of my 25+ years of research with others.

you. By understanding their lives, I truly believe that we are
helped to understand our own lives: the past is something we
carry with us.
